Peñíscola presents the 10th Traditional Cuisine 'Gastronomic Days' Event 

Peñíscola this morning presented the tenth edition of the traditional cuisine 'gastronomic days'. From 30 November until 15 December, participating restaurants will be offering special menus featuring traditional homemade recipes and local produce.

With a total of 8 restaurants participating this year, these Gastronomic Days offer the diner the chance to try authentic seafood cuisine imbued with the deep-rooted traditions of the City in the Sea. 3 course meals range from €25 to €35 and most include starters, main course and homemade dessert. Fish, seafood and produce from the farms of Peñiscola are the most common ingredients found in the many different dishes served up by local chefs.

The establishments offering these special menus are: Taberna Ánfora, El Cañar, El Caragol, Taberna Mío Cid, La Mar Salà, Hotel Restaurante Tío Pepe, Restaurante Roca and Rojo Picota.

"For lovers of good food, next Saturday is a date not to be missed at the local restaurants which, during the Gastronomic Days, will showcase our traditional cuisine with the personal flair of each chef," explained Raquel Paris, Tourism Councillor for Peñíscola.
